Super Banana Smoothie
This low-fat smoothie requires a little preparation beforehand.
- skim milk
- spices (optional)
- freezer-safe containers
- blender or stick blender
Chop up a few bananas and freeze them.
Take the bananas, still frozen, and just cover with skim milk. Maybe add some cinnamon, nutmeg and/or ginger. Blend with a blender or stick-blender. What you get is a banana thick-shake, with no ice-cream at all! Delicious and low-fat.
- add skim-milk yoghurt
- use mango instead of banana (it makes a lovely creamy thick-shake too)
