Kezi is fated to die. Olus, god of the winds, has fallen in love with her, and will do anything to save her. But can fate be thwarted?
This was somewhat disappointing, in that it delivered less than I had hoped for, even though it did deliver what was on the tin. I was hoping for something deeper and more challenging; not that it was shallow or lacking challenge. And it wasn't like I knew what was going to happen, either. I mean, I expected there to be a happy ending, and there was one, but I didn't know how the dilemma was going to be solved.
The world-building was good; sure, it was based on known cultures, but it was a nice change from "all fantasy is set in a medieval European setting".
