Again Paul Cornell has the honour of starting off a new branch of Doctor Who novel-dom - this time he has written the first of the New Adventures of Benny Summerfield; the spin-off that Virgin is doing because they no longer have the Who franchise. And again, he started it off with a bang.

I was wondering how he could justify the title, and the pretty cool cover, but it all made perfect sense - in the end. It wasn't all that convoluted either. Pretty simple, really. Surreal, but simple. But a few important questions remain unanswered in the end, which is rather frustrating. A couple of "why's" and "who's". But, boy was it fun along the way!
