I just didn't get it. It didn't make sense, it didn't click. Which was a bit of a disappointment after bubbling over at Babel-17. I think I got far too caught up in the peripheral issues like "Who are these people?" "Why were they there in the first place?" "Where do they fit in the frame of things?" "Why were they trying to be human at all?" - which of course were never answered - rather than the forefront questions of what the hero was doing and the myths and the characters... it all seemed too unreal to matter, somehow.
I just didn't get it. Which doesn't mean that you won't, just that I didn't.
